The Internet Archive has a load of public domain movies, cartoons, clips, etc for free download. Some of it is in fairly decent quality (resolution). Other movies include Nosferatu, The Wasp Woman (Roger Corman), and a lot of old movie serials - Flash Gordon, Crash Corrigan. There’s a real treasure trove of stuff here.
