I’ve reformatted and Americanized some the spellings for these stories which I have excerpted from Stories of the Saints by Candle-Light Vera C. Barclay, 1922, The Faith Press, LTD. In February 2006, a part-time Canadian music student established a modest, non-commercial website that used collaborative wiki tools, such as those used by Wikipedia, to create an online library of public domain musical scores. Eleven days ago, the IMSLP disappeared from the Internet.

A company has developed technology which generates the Semantic Web metadata representation of plain language descriptions. The software encourages users to develop and share linguistic information such as phrase structure and dictionary definitions for various languages and domains. Well, July 2008 comes to a close today. It’s a bit cooler here, but is expected to get steamy again tomorrow. Local area schools are starting back to class next week and the week after. I’m glad Eler Beth is home schooled, because I’d hate to think of putting her on a bus (or waiting in line to drop her off or pick her up) in this heat.
