So far, the app I use the most on my iPhone is the Stanza e-book reader. The stars come out to celebrate I am an American Day in 1951. It’s not the same as the Fourth of July but it was at the Hollywood Bowl and made for better pictures so I’m rolling with it. And - AND - as luck would have it, I AM an American, although I’ve never celebrated this holiday to my knowledge. If you haven’t guessed it from all the muffin recipes I’ve shared before, I’ll let you know that I love having homemade baked goods around the house for breakfasts and snacks. This recipe was inspired by a couple of ripe pears that I needed to use up.
